Dr. Wolvin received his doctorate from Purdue University (1968) and is currently Professor in the Department of Communication. He combines work in organizational communication and communication education. His primary research agenda focuses on the study of listening behavior, especially the development of a theoretical model for the understanding of and instruction in the process. He also deals with communication training and development within international organizational settings. His instructional program includes courses in listening, communication training and development, speechwriting, and intercultural communication. Selected publications: Roy M. Berko, Andrew D.
