Larry Jackson is Vice President for Communications and Homeland Security at 21st Century Systems, Inc., which produces intelligent software decision support systems.  Previously, Larry was Deputy Director of Incident Communications for the Department of Homeland Security, where he coordinated Federal communications response during a variety of incidents, including acts of terrorism, potential terrorism, and natural disasters.  Larry also served in the Homeland Security Operations Center, on the first deployed Principle Federal Official’s staff, and on the interagency body that advises the DHS Secretary during times of crisis.

Larry has co-authored portions of the National Response Plan, as well as portions of other policy documents dealing with public communications in times of crisis.  As a captain in the Navy Reserve, Larry commands a unit that supports disaster response for the Navy Installations Command.
