Christine L. Hileman, MPH is a Public Health Analyst within the FDA, Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition's (CFSAN) Office of the Center Director.  Christine is the FDA Project Officer for the Joint Institute for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (JIFSAN) cooperative agreement.  Additionally, Christine co-administers the JIFSAN student internship program. With over 200 undergraduate students, since its inception in 1997, the program enables UM students to enhance their knowledge of and experience in science and other relevant fields, particularly in a regulatory environment, and familiarize them with career opportunities in the regulatory sector of public service.  Christine received her Bachelor of Science Degree (1987) in biology with a minor in chemistry and Masters of Public Health (2000) from California State University, Fresno and is currently working on her Doctorate in Public and Community Health at the University of Maryland.
