Lucinda Austin

Graduate Student 

Lucinda Austin is a research assistant in the Center for Risk Communication Research (CR2), providing technical support and participating in research initiatives. Ms. Austin earned B.S. degrees in Communication/Public Relations and Media Studies/Advertising from Radford University in 2003. In the last semester of her M.A. program in Communication, she is currently studying Public Relations with interests in health and risk communication, organization-public relationship building, and educational public relations, and social influence. Ms. Austin also works part-time for a firm offering communication and health marketing research and support to government and non-profit organizations.
